Najma AlWadi is a successful leader with over two decades of achievements. Currently, she is the Chief Technology Officer at Tamkeen, overseeing Digital Transformation Initiatives and IT functions. Before joining Tamkeen, Najma led the ila IT Digital Team, launching Bahrain's first fully digital bank.
She previously served as Head of Development at Bank ABC, where she delivered innovative solutions across 11 countries, including digital banking and core banking systems. Najma has a proven track record in managing large, complex projects across banking verticals such as Credit, Treasury, and Trade Finance.
Najma holds a BSc in Computer Science (Distinction) from UAE University, an MBA from the University of Bahrain, and completed Harvard’s Driving Digital Strategy course.
