Widgets and patterns in OutSystems are designed with accessibility in mind, but the accessibility of our apps – and the rules around it – can vary greatly depending on location. Depending on your region, you may be striving for an AA or even AAA conformance level in the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines. Many may not be aware that OutSystems facilitates meeting these challenges by offering a range of functions for setting language, skipping to content, changing text spacing, and more. Using real examples from my own project, this session highlights how you can use the tools provided by OutSystems to accelerate the development of custom patterns while also ensuring that your app is accessible to all users– regardless of their abilities.
